good stuff!
is it just me or is Bun B everywhere these days?
Whatever the most anticipated rap CD of 08 is the Carter 3 aka C3.
True story
Bun B is being smart in my opinion. He knows Southern style Hip Hop is about to die out and he’s diversifying his game and making alliances with people in different flavors of hip hop so that when the big main stream money moves to another coast or genre of hip-hop, he’ll be there in authenticity to reap those profits. He’ll have an established rep damn near world wide. Bun also strikes me as an individual that wants to be more conscious in his music. Unfortunately I feel he couldn’t go as far as he could until PimP C Passed because PIMP C Represented Southern Hip-HOP (jewelery, hoes, clothes, rides, drugs, violence etc.)This wasn’t necessarily bad but I think a new era of Hip -Hop or urban music is arising. The midwest may have a stake to recieve the crown soon.
