Donations and Other Ways To Support

I would like to thank everyone who has been supporting through Paypal donations and by buying products through my Amazon affiliate link.

I want to make some moves to upgrade this site by doing things like getting more server space to handle the increasing web traffic I’m getting and hiring a web programmer to improve the layout and feel of the site and customize it more to my liking. Also, I read a lot of studies and buy a lot of books to keep abreast of the research and make these posts as informative as possible. The regular books aren’t bad, but the academic textbooks and studies are  pretty expensive.

These are the goals I am aiming for when soliciting for donations in this post. I’m thinking I’ll probably do a solicitation post like this twice, or maybe four times a year. I haven’t decided yet. The first priority is paying for academic books and studies I’m interested in. After that comes upgrading the server space. If I raise enough money, I’ll go for the web designer too. (If anyone can recommend someone, please email me at the email address in the upper right).

Ways to support:

  1. Make a one-time donation to The Rawness using this button:

  2. Select a recurring automatic monthly donation amount using this dropdown menu and this button:

  3. Shop Amazon using the banner below:

Thanks, and if you’ve been getting value from the site so far, I guarantee you the best is still to come.

I will be donating at the top of the month, as a part of my commitment toregularly pay it forward. I find great value in your posts, and have learned a great deal here.

I really do appreciate your openness regarding why you are requesting donations, what these dontations are to be spent on,and your funding priorities. Though it is a subjective call by nature, such statements allow me to more redily determine if I am deriving value from my contributions, and if I wish to continue doing so.

  2. Cool, Wayne. Glad you’re enjoying the blog.

  3. Im out of cash but will be donating this month.

BTW. You should start a fund on kickstarter (or something on the like) and take a year to write a book. I’d back that for sure.

  4. Great idea Yohami. I may put out a post on that to gauge interest levels, but if that’s something people people would be interested in I may do a kickstarter for the purpose of writing a book.
