I found that clip on a site full of public domain clipart gifs, and it fascinated me. But I couldn’t find the story behind it to put it in context or to find out if the dog is okay. No idea what the story is behind the clip. I’m thinking the dog is okay though because the car couldn’t have been going that fast if the other dog was able to keep up with it and the dog that jumped seems to have rolled with the fall immediately. Also, I kept looking and I don’t think the dog’s foot came off like Roissy said, although that’s debatable.

Disclaimers aside though, no matter what happened to that dog that clip is just funny as hell just for the sheer absurdity of it all. I love the “WTF?” reaction on the running dog the best after it all goes down.
