Dating Passionate People – The Europe Test
This is hilarious, and the life lesson #1 at the end about the perils of dating passionate people is so true. I learned that lesson from times I dated Eastern European women.
This video has become such a phenomenon that it’s even spawned a new term, The Europe Test.
It reminds me of a story that happened to a friend of mine. He went to a nightclub and met this really hot girl. They seemed to hit it off and he got her email address. He sent her an email and got no response. After a while, he got pissed and rattled off a really angry, spiteful email telling her off for being rude and a tease in pretty harsh language. A week later he got a long, sweet, lengthy email from her. It turned out she was out of town in Europe for the week, so she just got home and just finished reading the first email he sent. Turned out she was a really sweet girl and her response email showed a lot of interest. She obviously wrote this nice response email before she got to his scathingly insulting follow-up email. She never did write again, he never bothered trying to salvage it. The lessons here are obvious, I hope.

Ohhh. Your friend’s story is why I try not to send e-mails or engage in conversations when I am upset. If he had sat down to cool a bit the situation would have not seemed so bad. Instead of venting directly to the source he maybe should have gone to a buddy who doesn’t have any connection to the girl.
Of course, that is so much easier said than done. When in the grips of passion logic just goes out the window. I have to basically bunker down and distract the hell out of myself with activities that I have no choice but to focus on. Running and lifting weights for a bit helps.
This illustrates a classic beta characteristic: passive aggressiveness. The only reason he would be so pissed off over the slight is that he had placed far too much importance on some random encounter in the first place. One can only demonstrate one’s subordinate social standing by such histrionics. Far better to simply let it go if she doesn’t reply. Maybe something like what happened here is the case, or maybe it’s just a blow off. Either way nothing is gained by bitching someone out for not complying with the fantasy you built up as a potential relationship. Put simply, don’t shit where you eat, and don’t burn bridges. A real man should not allow his feathers to be ruffled by the vicissitudes of feminine interest. If you do you are just feeding into her frame. Its a losing proposition to care what any given woman (or anyone for that matter) thinks of you.

Well, i really feel bad for him and its due to lack of patience. I think he should try to mail her again…….
When I write an emotional email I save it as a draft, reread it the next day and then decide whether or not to send it. I have no idea what either of them are like or what he wrote in the email but if I got wrathful, insult-laden email from a guy I’d only met once I’d never want to hear from him again.
Brings back memories of a Romanian chick from back in the day that had problems controlling her temper. Europe test? She failed it in 4 days.
LOL- She was drunk as hell Sunday.

That girl sounds horrible.
Yet seems so typical of American Girls.
I am sure I would have experienced something like this, if i actually dated American Girls.
But I don’t.
I just swoop them.
Keeps life simpler.
