By the way, if you live in NY or just plan on visiting soon, you needs to look into Studio B in Brooklyn. They regularly bring some of the hottest acts to BK. Seeing Spank Rock there next.

VK - I look forward to that. N*E*R*D when they first came out was ridiculous, still one of the best shows I’ve ever been to. Then they got crazy mainstream success and kind of fell off musically. Suddenly it seemed Pharrell just wanted to be on TV and doing collabos with popular artists than making edgy music. His solo album was just UGH!-ly. I’m hoping the fact that he’s been out of the loop and not being a publicity whore is a sign he’s gone back to the lab and is trying to make some real bangers again.
Michy Mich - Last night made ME feel old. That crowd was YOUNG, and everyone was dressed up like an episode of A Different World or Fresh Prince. I mean, this was some really convincing retro. Fat rope chains, polka dot blazers, Salt n Pepe “Push It” outfits…but being worn by 18-20 year olds. Then it hit me…this is the first time in my life where something I was actually around for the first time aronud is now a retro movement.
