Approach Groups of Women Alone

Approaching a woman brings anxiety to most men, even the ones who do it often.  So the thought of approaching several at once is even scarier to the average man.  So what most guys go for is safety in numbers and approach a group of women with their own group of male friends.

More often than not, this is a horrible approach.  It makes you feel more comfortable, but it does the exact opposite to the targets.  It creates the feeling of a bigger invasion of personal space. It somehow just seems cheesier when a group of guys all comes at once, like they got together and planned their approach and worked up the confidence beforehand.  Plus it just makes all the guys look a little less confident and corny.

Always approach alone.  Sure it’s scarier but that’s exactly why it makes a much better impression, even if on an unconscious level.  I can’t exactly explain why but I find women put up less barriers and are less likely to cruelly shoot you down when you come over alone.  After a few minutes you can find a way to work your friends into the conversation seamlessly and then call them over. Or as one of them casually passes by, you grab him and pull him over to meet the group.  Or they can come over and introduce themselves once you clearly seem to have the ball rolling and are establishing rapport.  When you bring your friends over after making a good initial impression, it’ll go over much better than if you brought them all with you from the start.
